A pole position with smart solutions
My goal is to provide analytical and data-driven support for the business so that we can make the right decisions. I´ve never worked at a place with such a strong will to evolve the business and have the pole position when it comes to smart solutions.

What role do you have at Axactor and what does that role entail?
I’m a Business Analyst in Axactor Sweden. As a Business Analyst, I’m the owner of Sweden’s business intelligence (BI) and data warehouse. My goal is to provide analytical and data-driven support for the business so that we can make the right decisions – but also to provide the why’s and how’s if something went wrong (which of course never happens… 😊). I’m basically trying to get the right information to the right people at the right time.
"After just a couple of days at the office, it already felt like I had been working there forever"
Jesper Jandorff, Business Analyst at Axactor in Sweden
Describe an ordinary day at work!
The days usually start with me checking my e-mails to see if I have received any e-mails with a ! in the subject field – just to get the adrenaline pumping and get the day started. After that, I scan through our BI-reports to see what’s up in the financials and operational performance so I’m ready for possible questions from operations or management. If something seems a bit off, or if a sudden increase in cash flow on a specific client or in a specific area, for example, an ad-hoc analysis is done to see the reason of the increase, decrease or just weird looking figure. I’m also spending a lot of time having discussions with our brilliant external BI-developers – brainstorming on new functions, testing reports and creating requests for new reports.
Why should one choose to work at Axactor?
I’ve never worked at a place with such a strong will to evolve the business and have the pole position when it comes to smart solutions. And without expecting this to give a bump in the salary next year (I will accept it though) – I think the management team is exceptional. They’re always welcoming new ideas, different routes/methodologies and you really feel like they’re trusting your expertise, opinions and ideas. And last but not least – the colleagues. I said this when I just started at Axactor, but I’m saying it again; after just a couple of days at the office, it already felt like I had been working there forever. Everyone is very welcoming and it’s an overall great team-feeling in the office.
