When employees do good: 1,400 euros go to the Sterntaler children's hospice
The great success of our "Water Bottle" fundraising campaign in spring 2020 already showed that our employees like to get involved in social activities. Now a second campaign was added at the end of 2020.
In the course of a Christmas raffle, in which colleagues could win discarded cell phones and tablets, a significant amount of money was raised. Not only were more than 200 raffle tickets purchased, but a number of donations were also made to the raffle's organizational team without participating in the raffle. And so, in the end, 1,400 euros were collected for the selected donation recipient, the association "Kinderhospiz Sterntaler e. V.".
The raffle was held shortly before Christmas, of course in compliance with all Corona rules, and was broadcast via MS Teams for all colleagues. This meant that everyone could be there live when the names of the lucky winners were drawn from the lottery pot.
The team of the association was also very happy about our second donation in 2020 and sent us the thank you letter placed below. We are very proud that we were able to make a further contribution to the work of the "Kinderhospiz Sterntaler e. V." with our campaign.
